I have been using quickbooks online for 4.5 years to run an S-Corp and do the payroll through them. I find the tax payments easy and convenient. There is no state level support on the HR side, though. I run my reports out of here. I have two other small businesses that I run with quickbooks self employed but I’m changing those over to Xero because of the Stripe functionality. One complaint I have about the quickbooks online is the lack of customization of the CRM for example I don’t have a shipping and a mailing address, I have a service and a billing address and I couldn’t even adjust those. It doesn’t auto send receipts when I reconcile, which I also don’t like. I was going to use quickbooks desktop because that was recommended to me as the industry standard with lots of functionality, but when I went to purchase I felt like Intuit was pushing me away from choosing desktop. Although I also use intuit turbo tax for my taxes, I do not do the auto conversion over so I have no experience with that. The long and short of it is, yes, I use quickbooks online daily and I can for you as well, if you want your property managed with quickbooks online, I offer that.
